Sound Cyclists has responded that they moved the start/finish to
Norwalk largely for non-route related reasons. Marlene Cohen, an
officer of their club, wrote that Calf Pasture Beach is a much nicer
setting, with more parking and rest rooms, and earlier availability
to
the club the day before to facilitate set-up.

She noted that Norwalk is very pro-cycling and was eager to host the
ride. She made no mention of route changes.

I'm eager to check it out. Hope to see you there!
