The double century route follows the Metro North Harlem line from White
Plains to Dover Plains. They recently extended the line up to Wassaic,
but we don't pass the stations north of Dover Plains. If for some reason
you are unable to finish riding the double, you have the option of taking
the train back to White Plains. You will then have to get back to SUNY,
and climb Anderson Hill road, but that might be better than spending the
rest of the day in the sag wagon and watching the other rides enjoy the
ride you are missing.
If you think you might want to take your bike on the train at any point in
your lifetime, you should get a Metro North bike pass. They cost $5 and
are good forever.
Here is a link to a permit you can fill out, print and mail to Metro
North. Do this now, so you will have a permit when you need it.
