FYI, I am still planning for the challenge of a long ride on Sunday, June 14th.
Basic details: Start and finish in Pawling. Approx. 113 miles from Pawling north to Great Barrington and back using the same route as the double century. Possible add on of additional mileage, to be determined, using much of the same route running south of Pawling and then back up Rt. 22. (There's plenty of ways to cut back to Rt. 22 North) I'm not sure yet how many miles I'm going to target, and it might be a psychological bummer to finish 113 miles back in Pawling and then keep riding south to add on more miles, but we'll see what happens. But this may also work well for riders who are ready to finish at 113 miles. There should be plenty of sunlight with this kind of a ride, and a nice opportunity to eat and hang out in Pawling for a while afterwards.
