Marc,
Yes, the training rides are different from the double. The terrain is
hiller, the pace is slower as a result. We also have a smaller group.
The primary reason for the training rides, besides getting in some
mileage, is to make sure you can ride 100 or 125 without issue. It is
better to have a mechanical on the 125 than the double. I know, I
have done both.
