Bruce. Let's keep 20mph as the goal. Remember last year it was extremely windy and we pulled it off. I think we may even do better then 20mph since I feel the two strong riders less then compensate for strong wind over 200 miles.

Great to hear you will be doing the double again this year. From last
Sunday's 125 ride, it looks like Claus will be doing the double at
about a 16-17 pace as well. This would be a good year to try the
double the first time if you are a solid B rider.
Also, I predict the fast group will probably average 18 or so. We are
missing several of our fast riders this year. We averaged 17.1 on the
125 and took it easy the whole day. The double is a flatter route, so
an easy pace would be 18, maybe 18.5
If you plan on doing the double, please post to the group and indicate
your expected speed and we can try to see that groups can form to ride
with. The more people who post, the more will come out to ride.

Rob, I would love to do 20, but that is a tall order. We will be missing Jim Swigart, Nick Broskovich, and maybe Nate Morganstern. All strong riders....
