Tennis party this Saturday night from 8 PM to 12 AM at Alley Pond Indoor Tennis
Center in Queens Village, off Grand Central Parkway exit 22. For $35, you can
play and eat all you want. Call 718-264-2600 to RSVP. Pay at door with cash or
check (no CC).
(FYI, I do not work for Alley Pond and am not making any money by promoting this
party. I will be there myself and just want to make sure I'll have lots of
people to play with.)
I'm seeking a regular tennis partner to play indoor tennis in Queens early
weekday mornings throughout the fall and winter. I'm a 32-year-old male w/ NTRP
rating 3.0.
It's much less expensive than it sounds -- most indoor places are only $20 an
hour before 9 AM, and since we're splitting the fee two-way, it comes out to
just $10 for each of us. And on top of that, most places will let you play for
more than an hour and won't charge you for overtime. So we could probably get a
good 1.5 hours each morning for only $10 a pop.
Here are the places we can play at:
Alley Pond Park (Queens Village)
Cunningham Park (Fresh Meadows)
Bay Terrace (Bayside)
Queens College (Flushing)
USTA Indoor Tennis Center (Corona)
going to be nice again tomorrow (warm but a little cloudy). Prefer to play in
brooklyn (Ft. Green or VanVorhees) but willing to travel.
Let me know if you want to play or hit!
I'm available until 4:00 pm
