We are still in need of volunteers for the
race. We also need people to camp out at Aid Stations on Friday evening. They will
receive a $100 gift card per aid station. We then have a few spots for an early
morning volunteer position which will afford them another $25 gift card. So there
is the potential of Camping Out and doing a volunteer shift and making $125 of
gear from The North Face Store.
Not a bad deal if you like camping out.
We also need a driver during the day for pick
up and drop off of bags and people.

Josh - I just wanted to pass along some info that I'm
not sure if you're aware of. I ran the first half of the 1/2 marathon course
today and soon after the start when the trail is about to go under the second
underpass, a sizeable tree has fallen and will most certainly cause a backup if
someone doesn't take a chainsaw to it. Also, soon after the course turns
west/northwest onto 1777W, a large tree has fallen across the trail. People can
work their way around it through sticker bushes but you may want to let someone
know about that too.
