Hi Everyone,
An update on the campout at Nehalem Bay this coming weekend -
A site has opened up for Fri & Saturday night Aug 22 & 23 . So if anyone is interested in joining us, give me a call at 503-357-1718 or 503-577-7473.
We've got a great group of fun loving paso people signed up, and the weather forecast for the weekend says sunny & pleasant temperatures!
More info:
Nehalem Bay is a State campground- they allow up to 4 horses per site; 8 people and 2
vehicles per site. There are shared water spigots and porta-pottys in the
horse campground. Within a short walk of the horse camp the main campground has toilets and showers.
Nehalem Bay is on the Oregon Coast directly west from Portland,
about halfway between Seaside and Tillamook (approx 2 hours from Portland)
There's a 7 mile long beach open to the horses and approx 6 miles of
horse trails on the inland side of the dunes that criss cross over to the
bay and out to the beach. Here's a link to the parks website
