Got your attention now?  :-)    Good.  Here's the skinny from BCH:  Time to dust off your Pasos and strut their stuff!     -Tracey Kasten   Prize ride and beach ride on Whidbey Island Hi, My name is Mary and I am the president of the Island County Chapter of BCHW. I am also involved with the HOPE Therapeutic Riding and The M Bar C Ranch which is part of the Forgotten Children's Fund as are many of our members. I am in hopes of you sending this email out to your club members to make them aware of this special opportunity to stay and ride on Whidbey Island. HOPE & M Bar C are joining together to put on a fantastic fund raising event. This event is being held on June 28th & 29th at the M Bar C Ranch on Whidbey Island and is only $50.00. This is a 2 day riding event. On Saturday there will be a Poker Ride through the tranquil woods of Trillium, the ride and first hand is included in the cost and each subsequent hand is also $10. After the ride prizes will be awarded. For your evenings dinner there will be a old fashioned BBQ and for your entertainment a band to dance to. You are welcome to camp out at the M Bar C Rand with your horses. The next morning some of our BCH members will be fixing a breakfast for an additional cost to help benefit these wonderful charities. Then we will be hitting the lovely beach on Whidbey Island! The $50.00 fee is payable in advance (see attachment) and covers your 1st hand and ride in the Poker Ride, the BBQ, the Band and the Beach Ride! Camping is Free! Come join us and have a great time in a beautiful setting! If you need to be able to stay on Friday night also, give Dana a call and see what arrangements can be made!
