The NWPFHA Board voted tonight (unanimously, I might add) that if we can get solid pledges from enough people to raise $800 by April 15, we will move ahead with a pointed show for the Evergreen Gaited Classic. We have to get the judge's guest card fee postmarked by April 19 to meet our first deadline.  I am tasked with preparing some pledge/sponsorship forms, but whatever you can do by telephone and personal contacts for a headstart, that would be great, and then we can get people a form to fill out and send in with their check.  We should assure people that not only will they be supporting a pointed show, we will recognize and thank them properly for their contribution and support.  So let's do it!!!

 

And, don't forget, the Oregon State Fair is a pointed show at no expense to the club (State Fair provides the judge and the steward) other than a small "hospitality table" fee.  We are going to work with the Fair folks to try to get the Paso classes for Saturday and Sunday, August 23 & 24.  Unfortunately, at the moment, they are proposing all the Paso classes for Friday, August 22, so we are going to try to get that changed. They are still in preliminary schedule, so hopefully we can get that straightened out.
