Re: [NWPFHA] Re: Mt Adams Horse Camping Weekend

The beauty of this "no reservation" camping site that can accomodate a hundred or so rigs. (The Pan Am Endurance Race got at least 200+ rigs in this meadow in 2002.) You guys can just decide last minute if you like and come when you like, and leave when you like. Myself, my twin teenage daughters and possibly Tracey will be there early with us on Thurs and I'll stay thru Sunday evening. If you are coming before Saturday, you may get a space with a highline site. If not, there is PLENTY of room around the main sites in the meadow for lots of rigs if you bring something to tie or hold your horses in (ie: corrals) or tie to your trailer.

This sounds like a fun weekend. Linda, I am hoping to go, but don't
know for sure. Maybe we can drive up together. Margo and Cookie
live near by so I hope they will be joining us.

sure. The meadow camping is free. The highline camping spots are
$5/night. If you want me to hold one for you when I get there on
Thursday, then send me money to put on that site. Tell me WHAT
NIGHTS, and HOW MANY HORSES and SIZE RIG so I can grab ones that are
appropriate to your situation. There may be people camping there when
I get there but its that busy.
