RE: Thermal on the Sound

"... sailed Marsh park" Was this Friday? I noticed a good northerly all over the
Seattle area Fri. (As Rick noted.) But couldn't get out, it would've been a
great day. Yeah, and Marsh Park Kirkland is a very good spot, especially for any
N. winds... easy to use and no negatives.

Leo, you must've been flying with that set-up at your size... good for you.

I sailed my 9.8/F-Type 158L around 5:00 at Marsh park in Kirkland. I can't
remember a Northerly as strong and steady as today's (well OK, I don't sail that
often, and maybe I am still too excited).

The 9.8 was a bit too much to handle at times (I weigh 178) and my fitness
levels were low after being sick for multiple days last week. Other than that,
it was simply awesome.

Two more folks were in the water (I am forgetting their names). One on a long
board/8.5 and the other on a big freeride board/6.9. I think they were doing
fine.
