Hi Mohamad and all users,
I just enquired to know Nejmeh's result in the Right to Play
International Youth tournament which ended on Monday, and I got some
good insight info from the organizers.
In fact, We played 4 games and got beaten in all 4.
Results:
Riverplate beat us 7-0. [they ended up winning the tournament against
Chelsea 2-0 in the final. Excellent team they were with many
Argentinian internationals].
Korean team beat us 5-0
Chelsea beat us 7-0.
Bayern Munich beat us 7-1!!!!! We got a GOAL!!!! YEAHHHH:)
Note: Nejmeh/Lebanon team was playing better game after game, and the
organizer said they were really nice guys and enjoyed the experience
in London as a whole.
Also, The Lebanese players bonded extremely well with the Argentinians
[who ended up winning the whole thing], and they were singing in the
hotel together on Sunday night and exchanged shirts, etc... !!!!
Overall, they have left a good impression about our country, and
hopefully footbal in our beloved Lebanon will improve to get better
results in seasons to come. And as always, Nejmeh w bass ya sha3b
en-Nejmeh el 3azim!!!
Regards,
Rammah
