go to the Bay State Harley Pullers or NEMPRA.com site. We have 3
confirmed events and more in the works for this season.
Also a new page added to the site on some of the how to's on building a
pulling trike.
new photos will be added to the website soon from the last events.
Unfortunately the last event of the 2006 season in Rochester, NH was
cancelled due to rain.
We will have on of the first metric pullers competing next year.
Any questions, interest etc, just send a message and we'll get back to
you just as soon as we can.
This is the aftermath of a competitor that was pulling on the finals.
She was all over the track, went up in the air and over. She is okay
and the bike was ready to run for the next event.
We have 2 more confirmed events with Kev-Marv Productions. The first
is April 23rd. Go to our website and event page for more details. For
more information on what Sunday Scoots is all about go to
http://www.sundayscoots.com They will have full details posted soon.
It's a place to ride to in the area. They will have a band, vendors,
our motorcycle pulls, a custom bike show. They are all 1 day events.
Great idea. We are really looking forward to it.
Veterans Weekend Biker Bash.
Go to http://www.back40maine.com for more event information. Our
schedule of pulls (exact date and time will be posted on our site soon)
The 2005 season was greatly impacted by rain but still turned out
well. We have more events planned for 2006. More information on the
NEMPRA series will be available very soon on the website. We will also
have the schedule posted shortly.
In the meantime if you would like to get involved just send an email.
**Also we have most of the parts for the new metric puller and the
build will start soon. Pics will be added so everyone can see how the
project is going.
We are trying to keep up with this forum but have been busy with other
projects. Will try to get more information on here soon....in the
meantime just look on the website or send questions etc and we will
respond as soon as possible. Really looking forward to getting this
series going.
The last event of the season is October 8th down in Hebron, CT. It's
one of our smaller events but one to come to if your interested in
getting involved or seeing what it's all about.
We received the parts from Boston Biker for the new metric puller we
plan to have ready for the 2006 season.
We are now planning to build this puller to run in the "mix & match"
class just to get it started.
Anyone know of a Honda 750 laying around....this is what we're
thinking....we need frame, engine, and transmission.
Hoping to find the parts in the New England Area.
planning on doubling the schedule for 2006. Anyone interested in
building a puller can come to any event. There is prize $ and will be
more as it grows on the Northeast.
The Bay State Harley Pullers are heading out to Prospect, PA this
weekend for the Easyriders series pull.
Will be posting more on this message board soon.
In the meantime check out the websites for the latest news and updates.

Thanks for the feedback. We feel that same way..
We just started to use this GROUP more actively. We also have quite a
few people signed up for our newsletter through the website etc.
We are also getting better with other forms of advertising. We have 3
confirmed and possibly 6 total events in the Northeast this year. One
of course being in NY in June. As mentioned before the first event is
at the 1st annual memorial to veterans weekend bash in Norridgewock,
ME.
We'll keep you updated if this class actually takes off. Good luck
with your season!

Personally I like the idea of allowing the other engines to run
(although I'm not likely to build one anytime soon unless this part
of the sport took off around here or they were allowed to run with
the four wheel pullers [probably more likely as there's already MANY
motorcycle powered 4 wheel pullers]),, I think your much more likely
to see others get into the sport as a result.. at only ten members on
here I think the more immediate problem is getting the word out,,with
some effort seems like a show should sell itself,, lots of action,
noise, relative safety and cost to build plus there's a LOT of bikes
around for builders... Hope to see it GROW !! Geo

Of course the motorcycle pullers in this mix & match class would also
have to meet the other rules & spec's outlined on the NEMPRA site:
http://www.nempra.com/rules&specifications.htm

We all know how expensive it is for V-twin Harley, Indian, and Victory
motors. Even the new metric V-twin cruisers. In the interest of trying
to make it more affordable for people to get into this new Northeast
Series of Motorcycle pulling, we are considering a mix & match class.
Remembering that there will always be a V-twin class "by itself". This
is how we started!!
The only restriction on the new mix & match class is that the bike &
rider combined can weigh no more than 1,000lbs....and of course the
other restriction being your imagination! As this goes along and if it
works we will have separate classes and other changes may need to be
made. We're looking for any feedback and interest.
Go to the photo page for a glimpse of a rear end for the new puller we
are just planning on building....1st metric. More pictures and info on

your Welcome David, it's got everything in it, the USA and POW/MIA
flags flying proudly, dust a flyin', wheel(s)up, plenty of noise, a
dude enjoyin' his ride and pals/spectators in the background, looks
like great fun to me. Sure would love to see it spread around the
region/country. Just tryin' to help. Thanks...Geo
