Hi everyone,

The Discovery Channel is going to film a show in September about
electric drag racing. The show is part of a new series called "Green
Machines."

They want to do five events. We came up with motorcycles, street
legal cars, dragsters, best burnouts and the fifth we couldn't come
up but I suggested an autocross SCCA type event as well. Maybe also
get the electric bar stools out again. They want to film EVs racing
similar gas vehicles so that is the main purpose of the program.

So we need racers who want to be part of the program.

They plan to film in California and are looking for dragstrips to
film at. I attempted to get them to come out to the August event and
film it there but that is too soon for their schedule.

But anyway. Would anyone be interested in coming out to California in
September to be featured in the show. They want to put EVs against
gas cars.

We could make this another NEDRA Event.

We were also thinking of filming it in Las Vegas.

Just let me know what your ideas are for dragstrips in California or
if you can make it.

This is still very early in planning stages so a location hasn't been
found but the producer told me he is researching some sites in
California today so if anyone has ideas let me know.
