Crazyhorse Pinto made the news over the Memorial Day weekend at the
strip. For some reason the video guy was enamoured by the orange air
compressor. He didn't seem to care about the motors or batteries as
much. But he was sure focusing in on that air compressor ;-)

A lot of folks saw me talking and noticed the fire orange Pinto in the
background. Although the guy was an ameteur vidographer (it seemed like
it anyway) he did get part of us totin' the tires even with half power
dialed in for the bracket racing.

Turns out I fried a contactor and lost out on the important money race.
I was gaining on the guy and had him easily, and then power went to hell
and I heard a teribble chatter which sounded like gear teeth shattering.
It was just the contactor arcing over. I know the cause and it was my
own stupid fault for dorking around with the overdrive shift points
while in the midts of racing for money (and points).
