Dont worry...I'm not going out and hacking something together outa substandard parts.....actually if anything this is mostly just for my intellectual curiosity....I do some things that folks might consider pretty dangerous and have interest in even still more...if only I had the time and money!...so I certainly understand that things MUST be done right!
IF in the rare event I start building something I might ride in I will CERTAINLY be asking far and wide how to do it RIGHT!
Which brings me back to a question...a guy responded here, who exactly I forget at the moment...and I got some pretty good ideas regarding battery performance and cost....
However, I still a bit vague on how many hp per pound you can squeeze outa an electric motor if you only run it for a few seconds before you give it a long cool down time...and of course not running it so high you only get a few runs outa it....just high enough that it will last a few hundred or more "runs"
thanks for the reply and offer to call though!
have a good day
