Received this from HR.

I spent the better part of yesterday going through all my CDs (mostly
Power of DC stuff since that is basically the only hi-res NEDRA event
pics I have), but didn't hear back from him on whether they received
them or not. Matt sent some pictures too.

I have very little 300 dpi images. Most of the pics I have are from
people who send me CDs and alot of them leave the cameras set at 144,
150 or 180 dpi. I'm assuming because 300 dpi images use alot of space.

Most of us don't take pictures with the expectation that they could
be used someday in a national publication.

Kind of weird though. This is the second time I received a message
from them but when I respond back with info they never acknowledge
one way or the other. They had to get the first message I sent in
response to their request about a month ago because I sent them John
and Roderick's info.

The thing that can be learned from this is we really need hi-res pics
of the cars. Something to think about for the next event. I've been
approached by several racing photographers and this might not be a
bad idea because now its been a scramble to dig up decent
photographs. Or we need some volunteers to take some high quality
high-resolution shots for PR purposes.

I did what I could. If we get in that's good. If not, whatever.

Chip

Chip, Dumb question I guess, but what is 300 dpi resolution? I've got a 6 MegaPixel camera, but how does that translate? I had another magazine once ask me...
