Please forward this on to the clubs in your respective regions:

You have a few options for housing if hotels are already full do to Collegiate Nat's and the A-Day game.
A few members of the Tuscaloosa's tri community have opened their homes to athletes for homestays.  A local church has also opened up their gym to athletes for Friday night, but not Saturday night due to church services on Sunday morning.  You will need to bring air mattresses/sleeping bags for most of these locations:

I am in talks with the director of our recreation center.  He might open up a gym for people to stay in as well.  I will sent that information along as soon as we have the logistics worked out.

Public Transportation in Tuscaloosa is extremely limited.  We have a trolley system that runs from campus out to various store locations to help aid those students without cars.  It will not run close to any hotels, or into neighborhoods where your homestays could be.  I would highly recommend using rental vehicles.  Tuscaloosa is very spread out and the shortest distance from any hotel to campus (other than the Sheraton) is more than two miles.

Please contact the people below about homestays.

I hope this is just the tip of the ice burg regarding homestays.  I will send you updates as soon as I hear from more homestay opportunities.

Good Luck,
