Hello all,

I am the new president of the Penn State Triathlon Club and wanted to remind all the collegiate tri teams in the Northeast Conference that one of our members is putting on the Dam Triathlon at Whipple Dam State Park on Sunday August 26.  This race consists of a .4 mile swim, 19.5 mile rolling bike, and 4 mile trail run.

Collegiate athletes only need to pay $35 to register, and the overall collegiate individuals will get awards and a gift certificate to our local bike shop that they can use while they are still in town.  It would be great if we could get some more tri teams to come down and do the race.  We'll be having a pasta dinner with any other of the teams that come the night before the race and there will be plenty of food from Clem's barbecue after the race and possibly a post race party if anyone wants to stick around on sunday...?
