See below. Please share with your teams. So, I highly recommend wetuits for this race. When you get down in the 60's hypothermia becomes a real risk for anyone, but particularly if you happen to be a slower swimmer who will be exposed for a longer period of time. However, in most cases you'll be quite comfortable in that temp range with a westuit.

All,
I'm getting some questions about expected water temperatures in Tuscaloosa for nationals weekend. Any of you know what averages are for that time of year? Based on my experiences racing in Georgia around that time, I am assuming wetsuits will be legal and recommended. Would that be a safe assumption?
