Hello my name is Ali Hangan. I live in San Bernardino. There is a 5K
at UCR this weekend. Just thought I drop you a note. Might be a good
tempo workout for you. Here is the info:
The African Student Programs office at UC Riverside has set a 5K run
and health expo for Jan. 20 to honor Martin Luther King Jr.'s
birthday. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the entrance to UCR
parking lot No. 30. The run begins at 9 a.m. and the health expo is
set from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The registration for the run is $10 and children younger than 12 get
in free. Categories are individual, alumni, faculty, staff and baby
stroller. A fraternity, sorority and club challenge is set for 9:30
a.m. The fee is $30 per team.
Information: 951-827-4576.
