I've been following the Blazers for as long as they've been
around,I'm growing increasingly tired of Mr. Bud Selig giving the
other cities tries at franchises, only to have them lose money & be
treated like royalty (His own Milwaukee Brewers loaned the Twins &
Expos money) hey Portland, I'm a 6th generation Northwestern baby,I'm
tired of hearing media outside of Portland say that this city doesn't
deserve a franchise in Major league Baseball, even though(Excuse the
lingo)the minor league teams here have consistently beaten the crap
out of some of the more established organizations year in & year
out, sure we "finally" have a soccer team (again) sure we had football
teams here,(for what 3 seasons!), and combined they probably drew
more than their share of the dead leagues average attendance, As I
remember, each home game attendance figure that the Thunder,Storm and
the Breakers had didn't have to be padded,(correct me if I'm wrong OK)
Baseball in Portland is a family tradition,so C'mon Rose city What
d'ya say, is we goin' somewhere or is we aint
