Personally, I'd like to keep everyone on the Blazers,
but that's not how the real world works...so, I think
maybe trading Jermaine wouldn't be a bad thing. He
hasn't gotten to stretch his wings as a player for the
Blazers, but with a team like the Bulls (a team that
needs ALL the help it can get), he could probably log
a lot of minutes, get his averages up and maybe gain
some confidence. Then maybe when he's really good, he
can come back to Portland as a vetran player! Who
knows how it would work out. Then the Blazers could
get another young and talented guy with a lot of
talent and see where he will go.
I'd really miss Jermaine, but I'll follow his career
no matter where he goes and root for him (unless he's
playing against the Blazers, of course!).
I've pretty much just got my fingers crossed until
Brian Grant makes a decision about staying in Portland
or opting out of his contract. I hope he stays!
Detlef too! He can retire next year after we win the
championship!
Ta!
