I watched what I could. Except for the first quarter
and the small run they made, it was pretty painful to
be a Blazer fan, or a Blazer player for that matter.
Rasheed indeed does need to chill out. I love the
Trail Blazers with all of my heart, all of them, but
Rasheed made me so mad today. I know that no one
likes to have fouls called on them, but he just
doesn't know when to shut up. Because of his rep,
he'll get a technical for staring at a ref. It was a
total waste and not only did he let his team down, he
lied to all of us by breaking his promise of not
getting thrown out in the playoffs. Rasheed is
Rasheed and he's going to argue the call...but when he
does stupid things like intimidating refs and shooting
his mouth off, I'm embarassed for all of the other
guys out there fighting for their playoff lives.
I hope he cleans up his act and is a powerful force
for the team on Monday, and I hope we don't have to
watch another "Hackey Shaq" 4th quarter again. As fun
as it was to watch him miss, it really hurt to watch
him make the shots and that was embarassing too. It
was just not a good game for our guys!
Here's to a good game 2!
