I give credit to Mark Cuban. He made alot of money and bought a NBA
team. Who would have thought he'd have the skills to pull a
consistently bad team up to the point where they are legitimate
contenders.

Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Michael Finley, are the 3 main stars. Then
they bring in Lafrentz (sp?) and Nick Van Exel.

Dirk is among the top 10 players in the league. If not the top 5 in
my opinion. Nash appears to be getting better as a point guard. He is
finally without injuries. Finley has been good for many years now.

I like that a new owner comes in, puts his money where his mouth is.
Then just sits back and lets the team (players and coaches) work on
getting better.

Has Cuban been fined yet this year? He had been getting fined so
often last year. I read that he is claiming that his complaints from
last season has lead to better officiating this season.

Glad to have found this group. I get to express my new found interest
in the Dallas Mavericks with a group of like minded persons.

Merry Christmas
