I think the wallet holster that was discontinued in 1997 was one of the best choices for day-to-day carry. Of course, now that it is considered as taboo by the BATFE, we should not use it without registering it and paying the tax. Does anyone have plans for a nice, cheap holster, that is good for daily use? I don't mind buying a holster, but it can be nice to make one too.

Phil,
Like any man made object, sometimes someone will get a bad one, and
there is nothing you can do about that, no matter how much you spend on it.
But, the NAA revolvers I have had have always been reliable, and I
think you will be very satisfied. They are very well made, and are
ideal as a concealable backup weapon.
The Black Widow is one I want to get someday, as well. I had a
Mini-Master once (traded it on something I wanted more at the time), and
never had a problem with it. The Black Widow and Mini Master are
basically the same gun with different barrel lengths.
When you get one, spend the extra couple dollars and get the one with
both .22LR and .22 Magnum cylinders.

Hi, I just join the group. I'm thinking about getting a mini revolver
very soon for an always gun. I don't know much about the NAA. Have
any members had trouble with theirs? I don't want to have to send a
gun back until it's right. I want a dependable out of the box weapon.
I'm thinking about the Black Widow. What are the recommendations on
this or any other mini revolvers?

Thought i would share something with ya'll. Great fun and it does actually work.
Met my girl on here, http://www.theonlineparty.info/oiqi and so far it's been
the best year of my life ever! Wish you all the same happiness.
I own 4 NAAs including 2 .22 LR, 1 .22 WRM and the
.32. Does anyone know if these are all 100% stainless
steel -- including main spring? What care do they
require if subject to frequent moisture, salt water,
presperation, and high humidity? Or, does the
stainless steel make them basically maintenance free?
I have found all guns to be 100% reliable unless bad
ammo is used. Thanks!

Hello. I am new to the group. I recently ordered my first NAA
firearm – a Black Widow convertible.
I am considering a front pocket holster. Does any one have experience
with Ron Graham's Night Owl, Mini Pocket (w/ spare ammo pocket) or

Bob,
I have both the .32acp Guardian and the 1 1/8" .22LR mini with the
folding grip/holster. Each have their merits and both work reliably.
Neither are very accurate past 10 feet, but then, they're primarily
"conversation pieces". At close range, a CCI Quik-Shok out of the .22
should be every bit as effective as a Winchester Silver Tip from the
.32 for changing an attacker's frame of mind.
The small size of the NAA auto isn't a good fit for my hand and as a
result the .32acp is the largest caliber that I would use in this size
pistol. Even though NAA has added a fraction of an inch to the length
and girth for the .380acp, I'd think the recoil would be even less
controllable than the .32 in such a frame. I'd rule out the Kel-Tec
for the simple reason that it's too light. At least the added heft of
the NAA helps to hold down recoil.
I found that an extended mag will give me better control in the NAA
.32 if I'm trying to hit a target at 20' with any predictable results.
The downside is the use of the longer magazine has a negative effect
on concealability, which, after all, is why I bought these little
jewels in the first place.
The biggest reason I'd choose NAA over Kel-Tec is this: My .32 has
been back to the factory for upgrades and NAA did a complete
refurbishment (springs, drawbar, hammer assy., crown barrel, trigger
assy., new grips etc.) which would normally have priced out at $330
...and they did it free of charge. Once NAA finished, I had a new gun
and they had a loyal customer.
I hope you find what you're comfortable owning...that's actually the
bottom line. All the rest is just opinion...and you know what they
say about opinions........

I'm in Savannah. WE nt to the shop and he only had the Keltec .32
and .380. Still haven't made up my mind. The Keltec .380 probably
leads the pack right now.

Hi Bob,
Where do you live? My .380 had to be ordered, and my .32 I had to
drive 70 miles to find.

Hi Bob,
The Kel-Tec is bigger, but lighter. It can be ammo sensitive, and a
lot of people either like or hate them. The .32ACP is my summer
pocket gun. I carry the .380 when I wear a jacket. Both are built
like a tank, and are reliable. Can't go wrong with either.

Bob,
YMMV, but not only is the .380 cheaper for ammo, but it also seems to
be the minimum "recommended" defensive caliber.
Yes, I have carried a .22 LR at times, when I needed small and light,
but pretty much anymore, the .380 is the smallest I'll go.
I have the .380 Guardian, and I love it.
That said, you really should play with both to compare how they fit
your hand. I'm afraid that the .32 is too small for me, and I have
small hands. I find the .380 fits nice.

Hi Bob,
Have original .32 Guardian that is near 100% reliable
with FMJ ammo. Last shot usually stove pipes but no
problem as indicates "out." Side grips MUST be tight
as could cause catastrophic failure to pull trigger if
transfer bar out of alignment due to loose grips. It
is "heavy" compared to Keltec. Don't know if .380 NAA
proven. Also, have original Keltec .32 with a couple
hundred rounds with no jam. Very light, easy to carry
as you note and accurate with fmj. But, experienced
RIM LOCK with hollow points. My brother bought
Keltec .380 (that does NOT rim lock) two weeks ago and
jams with all types of ammo. He will send it back to
factory for repairs. I carry NAA .22 mag with short
barrel EVERY night while jogging. Very light weight
and main threat is pit bulls and rockies at very close
range. Very loud! (Sometimes I carry Seecamp as back
up though in back pocket holster though “heavy” and
very picky on ammo according to factory warning.) On
range, the .22 mag NAA is 100% reliable though shoots
very low at 10 yards using 33 gr Remington V-MAX. Slow
fire okay for dog threat. Stainless steel holds up
well in shower -- that's right -- I "carry" in shower
as someone broke into my apartment while I was taking
shower! Simplicity of NAA .22s means low maintenance
and near 100% reliability. If you like NAA, I would
research along with Keltec. I am pleased with the .22
mag mission it fulfills. Good shooting.

Guardian 380. Definitely. It is easily concealable. I carry it in waist band in a cheap GunMate holster. I have had it over a year and it goes bang every time I pull the trigger and it is built like a tank. Plus, it is easy to disassemble and put back together. My wife bought it and didn't care for it but I fell in love with it. I have never regretted it.
I carry a NAA mini in 22 mag currently. I've been looking at getting a Guradian in .380 or .32 just to have a little more fire power. The .32 interests me the most but .380 ammo is much cheaper. I don't know why I worry about ammo because I don't feel I'll shoot it much. I've also looked at the Kel-Tec models. They are much lighter and probably easier to carry.
If anyone can share some experience on any of the guns it would be appreciated.

Just found your site today. I have a N.A.A. Guardian in .380 that I

in .32ACP. Both are now back at N.A.A. having gutter nite sights,
