I too have a .22 LR mini, however, it is more a novelty to me than a real carry piece.
Would I carry it if I had nothing else? Absolutely.
But, what I do carry depends on how I am dressed Except for the warmest months, I carry a Kahr Arms KP45, .45 ACP.
When it is warmer, I carry a Ruger LCP .380. I used to carry a NAA Guardian .380, but the weight got to me. It is the same weight, +/- a few tenths of an ounce, as the Kahr .45 - in fact, I think the NAA's empty weight was heavier than the Kahr. If weight is the issue, and the guns weigh the same, then of course you'd take the .45 ACP.
The LCP, on the other hand, is half the weight as the Kahr or the Guardian. So that is what I am carrying right now...
Whichever one I carry, I also carry two spare magazines.....

----- Original Message -----From: jmanneriI wanted to get back to the original question on "What do you carry?". While I love my NAA .22lr mini, primarily for to excellent engineering and percision, I have never had occassion to carry it. I do carry a KelTec P-32. I find it so light and conveinent that I just have never bothered to carry the NAA mini. The .32 cal. is a bit more impact than the .22lr. and the KT is probably a little safer to carry due to accidental discharge that can occur with the revolver. KelTec = 7 rounds of .32 vs. NAA mini = 5 rounds of .22lr.
