Thinking along those same lines, I was looking at the convertible. It has the same size as the Magnum, but also has a cylinder chambered for LR. I might have to order one for the shop so I can compare it to the others.
I was able to acquire the "Pug". Have you seen one of those yet?

I too have heard the stories and seen the ballistics charts to prove what you said is true about the .22LR nearly matching the .22Mag in these little revolvers. My main reason for preferring the Mag is purely ergonomics! It just fits better!! I've had both and sold the LR version for the simple fact was it was just too small for me!
