YMMV, but not only is the .380 cheaper for ammo, but it also seems to
be the minimum "recommended" defensive caliber.
Yes, I have carried a .22 LR at times, when I needed small and light,
but pretty much anymore, the .380 is the smallest I'll go.
I have the .380 Guardian, and I love it.
That said, you really should play with both to compare how they fit
your hand. I'm afraid that the .32 is too small for me, and I have
small hands. I find the .380 fits nice.
