Get both! :)
The LR is pretty small, which can be nice. I got the magnum just so I
had more of a grip to hold on to. I rather like those lil chunks of
rubber that fit on the side(so small I can hardly bring myself to
call them grips). Helps keep it from slipping away. The magnums do
have a bit of a kick to them, watch where you put your thumb! The
back edge of the cylinder can be sharp when the recoil shoves it into
your thumb.
Seeing as how I like small, I might go for the 22 short model next. I
had a LR-frame black powder for a while, ended up trading it for
something else with a friend that was into black powder. Just too
much of a hassle for me.
