What is done to clean the fowling in a flintlock while in the field -
or at the range? After about ten shots at the range the barrel is
getting too tight and needs to be cleaned - what do you do?

I run a patch slightly wet with black powder solvent about every 6 or 7 shots if I am using BP. If you use pyrodex you can got a lot longer but you don't get...
