i have a cva mag muzzleloader and it only take 150 gr and i shoot 235 hp and i
bring down two deer this year at 150 yd 444  grain pure lead HP in 50 caliber
should go about 50 fti think that too big

I am planning to hunt sika deer with muzzleloader. I have
been hunting these deer for 2 years and find them hard to put down. I
hit one with a 20gauge and it ran 80 yrds before it fell. The area
where i hunt is VERY thick. Visibility is 10 feet at best when on the
ground. Tracking is very difficult. Although i have not lost a deer
yet i have been with people that have. I am planning to buy the cva
wolf magnum and using 444 grain pure lead HP in 50 caliber. Any
