The best powder is Swiss brand black powder. I use it in all my
muzzleloaders and sharps rifles. Get away from all that fake black powder it
aint nothing
but a joke. Real men shoot black powder. There is no such thing as clean
black powder. The Swiss stuff leaves less fouling than any other brand and
gives
the highest velocity.

Don In the past ox-yoke was testing a muzzleloader with their patch lubricant. I believe it was t/c. The test showed a well used rifle that has been shot 1000...

I used only Goex or Swiss black powder and here is why, I find that the fake powders in humid Missouri are far more corrosive after firing then True Black...

the cleanest podwer has very little to do with brand although 4f is the cleanest its also not recomended for use in muzzel loaders what u want to do is go buy...
