Try using CCI #10 caps, they fit just right. Also you might want to try Pyrodex pellets, which makes loading these revolvers easy- just drop in a pellet, then...

I only use the CCI #10 caps and have never had an ignition problem. As for loading, I've never tried the Pyrdodex pellets. I have a powderhorn that measures...
