Kenny Dunaway's Multisport Report

Feb. 11, 2004
"Ride as much or as little-or as long or as short-as you feel. But ride."
Eddy Merckx

Don't forget this weekend's LaMBRA two-person, team time trial set to launch from Jackson, LA this weekend. There are apparently a share of cyclists looking for partners for this early-season points time trial. Keep your eyes tuned to the internet for a partner if you're interested in riding.

Printed editions o the annual Louisiana Multisport Report are out and about. If you did not get your free copy in the U.S. mail, you can (or soon will be able to) pick one up at one of the following locations:

Joe's Bicycle Shop in New Orleans
The Spokesman of Mandeville
Bike Zone of Covington
GNO Cyclery of New Orleans
Foxy's Health Club of Baton Rouge
Spectrum Fitness Center of Denham Springs, Baton Rouge
Elmwood Health Club in Harahan
Franco's Health Club of Baton Rouge
Capitol Cyclery (BR, Lafayette, Lake Charles)
Varsity Sports of Baton Rouge
The Bicycle Shop of Baton Rouge
Pedal Play Bicycles of Baton Rouge
Red's Health Club in Lafayette
Johnson's Bicycles of Lafayette
St. Francisville Health Club
Brad's Health Club in Zachary
Run Wild in Alexandria
Red River Cyclery in Alexandria
Sportspectrum of Shreveport
John Cobb's Bicycle Sports in Shreveport
Southeastern Louisiana University Activity Center in Hammond
LSU Sports Recreational Center in Baton Rouge.
No doubt there will be more locations where magazines will be dropped for folks to grab a copy. I need to get some copies to central and north Louisiana. If anyone in from central and north Louisiana who would be in South Louisiana soon for runs, rides or Mardi Gras, let me know. I could use help spreading some Louisiana Multisport Reports up north. Thanks.

This Saturday is the Sweetheart Run in Thomas Park on Geraldine Street in Acadiana. Sure hope the rain stops. It should be one of the few days with sun, so grab your honey and see if you can catch her.  It starts at 8 a.m. and it’s a relay for two miles. For info write Todd Delahoussaye at boardmember@... .
