Conversational reports on the GatorMan Triathlon in Lake Charles last
weekend were all good. Way to go race director Barry Laningham. I still
would like to see some written reports on the event. Check out the results
via lafayettefitness.org. I hear there were more than 250 who raced?

MudBug Mayhem Off Road Cycling Set Oct. 5
From Darius Sampey
The weather has changed and fall is in the air. The temperature and
conditions are perfect for some great mountain bike racing here in Baton
Rouge. BRAMBA will be holding our second of four races of the fall series
this Sunday Oct. 5th. The race was originally scheduled to be run at Hooper
Road Park, but due to the heavy rains a few weeks back some parts of that
trail are heavily eroded and have not been able to be properly repaired. But
don't fret. The Comite River Park trails are in great shape and are ready
for some great mountain bike racing action. We will have women and men
classes for first timers, beginners, sport and expert. Registration opens at
8:30 a.m., riders meeting at 9:45 a.m. and experts go off first at 10 a.m.
Registration fee is $20. These temperatures were made for mountain bike
racing so bring a buddy or two and come out for a great racing experience.
For more information visit our website at www.bramba.org .
