whatever feed back you care to share on this year's printed edition.

<<Notes on La. Senior Olympics>>
From Mark Rayner < lsog-membership-request@...>
Invoices for membership in the Louisiana Senior Olympics were mailed
earlier this month for 2006 membership. Dues are coming
back to our office with membership fees and donations. We truly
appreciate everyone's support as we move forward in 2006 and get
back to business with our events. To join or participate in LSOG
events, you must be aged 50 or better.
Although we have a long way to go in reaching our goal in the
membership drive, we're encouraged to see statewide support for
the LSOG. We're also encouraged to see supporters from the
hurricane-affected areas returning and renewing their LSOG
memberships.
Membership dues are $10. All persons who join the LSOG by March 31,
2006 will receive the 2006 state games entry form and pay reduced
state games basic entry fees ($10 versus $30 for non-members).
Remember, LSOG membership is not your entry fee for the October
state games. Your LSOG membership helps us with general maintenance
of our office, your phone calls and programs including features like
the "Field Post" and the web site:
http://www.LSOG.net <http://www.lsog.net/> to keep you informed of
Senior Olympic events at the district, state and national levels. If
you've been a previous member of the LSOG, we hope you'll join us
again in 2006. If you're not a current member, consider joining by
completing the following form:

LSOG Southwest District Event Schedule Being Modified
Adele Mart, the Southwest District Games Coordinator, in the Lake
Charles area, was informed January 25 that all events scheduled on
the McNeese Campus are cancelled. The campus facilities have been
under renovation since Hurricane Rita and were on schedule to be
ready for the Southwest District Games.
Construction delays have resulted in the cancellation of only
Southwest District Games events scheduled and listed in the entry
form on the McNeese Campus.
The LSOG website has an updated entry form listing events that are
currently available for the Southwest District Games. Cancelled
events have been crossed out on the entry form on our website.
Shooting (March 18); Golf Medal Play (March 20); Bowling and Putt-
Putt Golf ( March 23); and Archery (April 29) are still scheduled.
The Southwest District is working to adjust the schedule and
reschedule some events. We will update the LSOG website entry form
and Field Post as we receive updates regarding any changes to events
for the Southwest District Games.
Contact Southwest District Games Coordinator, Adele Mart, at 337-721-
4020 if you have questions about their events. Click on the link
for a copy of the Southwest District Games entry form with the
latest updates we have received from them:
