LESS THAN 20 SHIMMER T-SHIRTS REMAIN!

We have a very limited supply of SHIMMER logo t-shirts remaining from
Sunday's taping. They are available, while they last, via mail order
by check or money order. The shirts are $20 each (U.S. & Canada),
which includes Priority Mail postage. We can ship internationally for
a total of $24 including postage.

We have less than 20 total shirts left in both "Macho Man" purple
(with black and silver print), or black (with purple and silver
print) in size XL only. The shirts have the SHIMMER logo on the
front, and stars over the back right shoulder.

FULL RESULTS & RECAP - VOLUMES 7 & 8 TAPING
----------------------------------------------------------

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES returned to the Eagles Club in Berwyn, IL on
Sunday, October 22nd. Volumes 7 & 8 of the SHIMMER DVD series were
filmed during the course of the show. Here's what went down...

1. TIANA RINGER def. LORELEI LEE in the opening contest with a
fireman's carry into a spinebuster.

2. PORTUGUESE PRINCESS ARIEL def. CINDY ROGERS with the Dariel.

3. "The Experience" LEXIE FYFE & MALIA HOSAKA def. SERENA DEEB &
PORTIA PEREZ after a double team Gourdbuster on Perez.

4. MsCHIF def. RAIN via disqualification. CHEERLEADER MELISSA made
her way to ringside during the match, keeping an eye on MsChif, only
to be shoved out of the way (and to the floor) moments later by LACEY
as she hit the ring to help her partner RAIN. Lacey got on the apron
and took the attention of the referee, tossing Rain a chain around
his back. Melissa got back to her feet on the floor and immediately
took issue with Lacey. As they argued, the referee turned around just
in time to see Rain nail MsChif in the head with the chain, causing
the DQ. A furious Rain & Lacey shouted that Melissa would regret
getting in the way of their plan.

5. ALLISON DANGER def. AMBER O'NEAL via submission with an STF.

In a locker room promo, DAIZEE HAZE mentioned how she was supposed to
battle REBECCA KNOX in a 60 minute iron woman match on Volume 7, but
Knox's injury has forced that bout to be postponed. The Haze said she
wanted to test herself against one of the top competitors on the
roster, and noted that CHEERLEADER MELISSA doesn't have an opponent
signed as of yet, and laid down the challenge for the main event of
Volume 7.

6. NIKKI ROXX def. LACEY with the Barbie Crusher after fifteen
minutes of back and forth action.

7. "Latina Sensation" MERCEDES MARTINEZ def. LUFISTO with a fisherman
buster in a very hard hitting match that earned an ovation from the
fans in attendance.

In a locker room promo, CHEERLEADER MELISSA accepted DAIZEE HAZE's
challenge.

8. "American Angel" SARA DEL REY def. NATTIE NEIDHART with the
butterfly lock into the powerslam in about twenty minutes. As Sara
celebrated her win, MERCEDES MARTINEZ came to ringside, grabbed the
microphone, and demanded they cut Sara's music. Martinez immediately
took issue with Del Rey not sticking to her word that she'd give her
a third match in their series "any time she wants it," and placed the
blame on Sara for their tag team loss on Volume 6. Martinez informed
Del Rey that "any time" is Volume 8, and no matter what Del Rey might
have had planned, she's now going to get her ass beat by the Latina
Sensation on that DVD.

9. In the main event of SHIMMER Volume 7, CHEERLEADER MELISSA def.
DAIZEE HAZE with the Kudoh Driver in just under thirty minutes. Post-
match, LACEY and RAIN attacked Melissa, double teaming her until
finally MsCHIF hit the ring to make the save, leveling The Minnesota
Home Wrecking Crew with several shots. Lacey grabbed the mic, angry
that MsChif got involved in a matter between the MHWC and Melissa.
Lacey proclaimed herself and Rain the best tag team in the world, and
told MsChif and Melissa to be ready to take them on in a tag bout on
Volume 8. MsChif and Melissa came face to face in the middle of the
ring, with MsChif walking off seconds later as Melissa celebrated her
victory.

10. In a match taped for free viewing online at SHIMMERwrestling.com
and YouTube.com, SARA DEL REY def. LORELEI LEE with the butterfly
lock into the powerslam.

11. CINDY ROGERS def. SERENA DEEB via submission with the TCB. Post
match, Rogers nailed Serena in the back with an extra kick for good
measure.

12. LUFISTO def. ALLISON DANGER via chokeout.

13. NIKKI ROXX def. MALIA HOSAKA with a bridging roll up in about
twelve minutes.

In a locker room segment, MsCHIF approached CHEERLEADER MELISSA as
she was lacing her boots. Melissa asked her if them teaming was going
to work, and in response MsChif threw a set of chains at Melissa to
wear to the ring, and walked off.

14. LEXIE FYFE def. LORELEI LEE with the Attitude Adjuster.

15. AMBER O'NEAL def. JOSIE with an STO.

16. NATTIE NEIDHART def. PORTUGUESE PRINCESS ARIEL via submission
with the Sharpshooter in roughly fifteen minutes.

In a locker room segment, ALLISON DANGER interrputed a promo by CINDY
ROGERS and confronted her about her overly aggressive attitude during
her recent matches, and post-match kick to SERENA DEEB. Rogers argued
that she has to send a message to the rest of the locker room to get
noticed and climb the card.

17. DAIZEE HAZE def. TIANA RINGER with the Heart Punch/Yakuza kick
combo in about fifteen minutes.

18. "The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew" LACEY & RAIN def. MsCHIF &
CHEERLEADER MELISSA with a double team tomikaze followed by Lacey's
implant DDT on MsChif. After the match Melissa and MsChif shook
hands in a sign of respect as partners.

19. In the main event of SHIMMER Volume 8, "Latina Sensation"
MERCEDES MARTINEZ def. "American Angel" SARA DEL REY via pinfall
following a combination of Saito suplexes to end Del Rey's undefeated
streak in SHIMMER singles competition. Martinez jumped Del Rey from
behind during her entrance, and began the match on the floor.
Martinez was more aggressive than ever, utilizing the guardrails in a
more brutal onslaught than in their previous bouts. Neither Martinez
nor Del Rey were able to hit their trademark maneuvers (the fisherman
buster and the butterfly lock) during the course of the match. Post-
match, both athletes received a standing ovation from the fans in
attendance to close the show.

SHIMMER staff photographers Mary-Kate Grosso and Jill McKee shot
ringside and posed photos throughout the night. Look for them online
in the coming days.
