Jeff expressed some interest to me about this one. I'll pass this along and see
you in the morning.

I did forget the lube but it didn't become a problem. We made fair time
somewhere between 6 and 7 hours including our water/food stops. Jeff had a
strange shifter/derailleur problem, but it ended up in a gear he could ride. It
was a great way to tour the Eifel. The best part was joining about a 40 rider
group and cruising swiftly through Luxembourg; we were going faster and my heart
rate was slower than the whole rest of the journey.

Note: I did not stretch it out to 100 mi; there was a cold rain that started
about 16 km from the finish.

Chris,
Yes it was a great ride except for the water part, the shoes are wet the bike
looks like i went mt biking, but all is good. Maybe next time we can do the
extra 14kms to put you over the century.
Jeff,
Post the pictures when you get them ready. Maybe we should have a good look at
your bike once you clean it. I have housing and can take a look at it if you
need assistance.
Dan,
I thought you got lost leaving but i guess you were just pouring more coffee.
I will let you all know when i recieve the write up from the paper.

Fun ride and good route...just enough climbs to make it interesting but not too
painful. Chris is right on...hooking on to that large group was the best part
of the ride...except for the cheesecake at the rest stop :)

Jack...no, I got lost but made a quick recovery. Note to self, the autobahn
signs are green in Belgium, not blue...
