Re: Miyata 1000 Photos...

very nice looking 1000! Similar to what I've done with a 210, the
lowest of the 2xx-6xx-1000 series. I tried it first with Albatross
bars (see the photos I'm about to post), but changed to moustache bars
after a few weeks.

Hi All, I've got an old wheel set I'd like to clean up and get to shine again. The spokes are pre stainless, maybe nickel (?) and are oxidized. Rims are old...

George, Any local hardware store worth its salt will carry several brands of spray paint. For what you want to do, "Chrome Silver" will work best. Use it to...

And now for something completely different: I've had some good luck using Nevr-Dull, "The Original Magic Wadding Polish". Repeated rubbings with new pieces of...

Hints tips and clues, Thanks!  Now I have a plan. The best possible route to take may be to go with the glitter. Being an elementary teacher, I have glitter...

I would add that I don't think there will be a problem cleaning galvanized spokes; you may simply not want to use something very abrasive. Anybody out there...
