Miyata 1000

Hi all, I am happy to find this group. I have been riding and enjoying my
Miyata 1000 for
years. I also buy any and all Miyatas that I might come across at garage sales,
thrift shops,
Craigslist (If I can) etc. I have lovingly cleaned and"rebuilt" several and
sold them to lucky
individuals. One was a seriously NOS 1000 (pic in my album) in green that was
actually my
size. It pained me to see it go but I don't need 2 of them...do I?

I recently upgraded (for local daily use) my wheelset to Shimano 600 hubs on
Campy
rims. I was never fond of the original Shimano "sealed bearing" hubs. Has
anyone else
changed their wheelset? I also changed to Nitto moustache bars and I love it.
I put the
original "M" branded stem on there but I think I need a technomic for slightly
higher bars.

Hope to hear from you.
