Congratulations on your find.

The Expedition, like almost all Miyata-made frames of that era, took a
26.8mm seatpost.

I recently got a Specialized Expedition frame with a few of the
original parts (brakes, BB, some of the headset), but no seatpost. My
caliper suggests that it would take a 26.6 mm post; is that correct?
