Description

This group is for owners and fans of older (roughly 1980s - early 90s) Miyata (610, 1000, and similar) or Specialized (Expedition) touring bikes. Folks who like similar bikes are welcome too! Let's make this a place to share information about these bikes, post photos, and share advice. I think we'd all enjoy seeing each other's bikes, and reading about them. Also, if anyone has any scans of related catalogs, ads, or reviews, post them here.

Thanks!

Tim Fricker
Miyata 1000 owner

I have to agree with Andy. If your feel uncertain enough to give a story in order to get the guarantee honored, then it's probably not the right thing to do.

Andy - You’re telling me that they issued a “forever” warranty on a hub rather than a “lifetime” warranty?  For all eternity we will replace your
