PHILLIES DEAL ROLEN TO ST. LOUIS
The Phillies today announced that third baseman Scott Rolen was
traded to the St. Louis Cardinals, along with right-handed
pitcher Doug Nickle and cash, for infielder Placido Polanco,
left-handed pitcher Bud Smith and right-handed reliever Mike
Timlin.
