PHILS READY FOR SECOND HALF
The Phillies start the second half of the home season by hosting slugger Sammy Sosa & the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday July 17th for the Latino Legends Night. Former Phillie player and coach, Tony Taylor will receive this year's Latino Legends Award in pre-game ceremonies. Then, on Thursday the 18th its another Citizens Bank Businessperson's Special at 1:05. These are your only two chances to catch the Cubs in 2002.
The division-leading Atlanta Braves follow with a weekend visit July 19th through 21st for the Triumphant Glory Series, presented by Viagra (sildenafil citrate). Both teams will wear old-style uniforms for the series -- the Phillies from their 1980 Championship season and the Braves from 1974, Hank Aaron's career homerun setting season (Sidenote: The Phils will wear the road '80s uniform when they travel to Atlanta at the end of July). On Sunday, July 21, all fans will receive a Free Phillies Nostalgic Painter's Cap courtesy of Viagra (sildenafil citrate).
