Opening Days are always special and can result in memories that last a lifetime. Remember, I got the first hit at the Vet, way back in 1971. (Were you there?) Only two more Opening Days at the Vet, so come out early and enjoy the festivities. We're excited to be back home and in front of a red sea of Phillies fans. A sampling of the pre-game festivities: Phillies red caps and rally towels for all fans, a 300 x 100 ft. American Flag, a flyover by the PA National Guard and a dazzling first-ball delivery by the elite Navy Leap Frogs as they parachute into Veterans Stadium. Come out and enjoy the patriotic salute along with Rolen, Burrell, Rollins, Abreu, Lieberthal and the rest of the 2002 Phillies. The Home Opener promises to be a memory that lasts a lifetime!
