The dynamic portraits depict Philadelphia baseball history from the 1880s through the 1980s - and introduces visitors to the evolution of the players, game, uniforms, equipment, ballparks and fans.

Mike Schmidt Statue Reaches Ten Feet High

Wait until fans see the enormous statues of Phillies legends in the new ballpark!

World-renowned artist Zenos Frudakis has been busy creating the statues of Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, Robin Roberts and Richie Ashburn for Citizens Bank Park and has already converted Mike Schmidt from the original three-foot maquette into a ten-foot masterpiece. After Frudakis is finished refining the clay for the statues, they will be sent to a foundry where they will be bronzed and then brought over to Citizens Bank Park to make their debut on Opening Day.
