PHILLIES BREAKING NEWS: MILLWOOD ACCEPTS ARBITRATION
December 19, 2003
Kevin Millwood accepted salary arbitration from the
Phillies on Friday, binding him to the team for 2004, and

baseball. Millwood, 29, waited until the final day before
accepting the offer, which had been extended to him on
Dec. 7. The next step will come in January, when each side
will exchange salary figures, though the sides could settle
on a contract before or after that date.
