Ed Wade is receiving the 2003 Lew Klein Alumni in the Media Award and will be inducted into the Temple University School of Communications and Theater Hall of Fame on Tuesday, December 9, at the University's Great Court in Mitten Hall. Wade is a 1977 graduate of Temple with a degree in Journalism.
Former Phillies Lee Elia and Bob Walk were inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, November 15, in Essington, PA.
Danny Ozark, ex-Phillies manager, was inducted into the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame in Dallas on November 20, six days prior to his 80th birthday.
Tug McGraw is being honored by the Philadelphia chapter of the ALS Association on Thursday, December 11, at the Wyndham Philadelphia Hotel at 12 noon. Fans wishing to attend may call the ALS Association at 215 643-5434.

BALLPARK ART ON DISPLAY IN PHILADELPHIA
Fans now have the chance to enjoy the new ballpark in art form.
Max Mason
Max Mason, a renowned artist who teaches painting at the University of Pennsylvania, has been commissioned by the Phillies to produce three large murals for the scoreboard restaurant at Citizens Bank Park. He is exploring representations of three Phillies homes: Connie Mack Stadium, Veterans Stadium and Citizens Bank Park.
Samples of Mason's work, which includes paintings that capture the construction of Citizens Bank Park as well as his passion for baseball, will be on display until December 3 at the Gross McCleaf Gallery, 127 South Sixteenth Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102. For more information, call 215-655-8138.
